Secretary General of the Association.. increasing number of patients

During his talk to Al-Iman satellite channel, the Secretary General of the Society  ” The number of patients is constantly increasing and we need official and community support”. He Said.

The General Secretary of the Society, Mr. Mohsen Mohammed Al-Noweira, stressed the need of the Society for a specialized center for thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders.

The Secretary General of the Society during an interview with Al-Iman satellite channel explained that patients number is increasing and that the Society needs official and community support in order to carry out its humanitarian duty.

Al-Nuwaira praised the role of the Ministry of Health represented by former Minister Dr. Ahmed Qassem Al-Ansi in supporting the society and standing by its patients.

He also praised the role of the current Minister of Health, Dr. Riad Yassin Abdullah in the adoption of pre-marriage test draft law and work to be one of the outcomes of the national dialogue congratulated him to gain confidence.

Al-Iman channel visited Wednesday evening to the headquarters of the society and met with the Secretary-General of the Society and many families of patients with thalassemia and hereditary blood in addition it met  Dr. Abdullah Tayyar doctor of diagnostic clinic and some nurses in the center.

The Executive Director of the Society, Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati, thanked Al-Iman Satellite Channel for its continued adoption of the message of the sick and to publicize their humanitarian cause.

He called on the various media to cooperate with the association in raising awareness of the risks of these chronic diseases, which are no less important than other national issues, as he said.

Al-Khayati appealed to the media to mobilize the community to save the lives of hundreds of patients in need of blood, whose lives are at risk due to a donor crisis.
