Thalassemia Center receives .. International College Students Health Sciences and Technology

Director of  Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders Center  Dr. Mukhtar Ismail and Head of Public Relations & media Mr. Abdullah Al-Jadaie received a number of students from the International College of Nursing and Laboratories at the Center in Sana’a.

During their reception, the Director of the Center praised the interest of the students of the International College in humanitarian and national issues, especially the issue of thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders.

He called on the students to conduct a medical examination before marriage and contribute to raising awareness of the community of its importance and work to reduce the spread of genetic blood diseases.

The students listened to a brief overview of the most important health, social and relief services provided by the Society through the Center through a presentation of the documentary film.

The students also listened to a number of flashes and information materials to raise awareness of the risks of thalassemia and its complications and ways to prevent them.
