About Thalassemia and Sickle cell Anemia (3)

What is sickle cell disease and spleen?

هIs a genetic blood disease in which a disorder occurs in the genes responsible for the formation of hemoglobin, which leads to the containment of red blood cells on the hemoglobin abnormal called hemoglobin Hemoglobin or hemoglobinS.

Hemoglobin s causes a change in the red blood cells to become solid, pulsed and twisted in shape like the sickle or moon. This disease takes its name from this sickle shape of red blood cells.
أCauses of sickle cell anemia:
هIs a hereditary disease that is transmitted from parents to children through the genes as there is a fault in the gene that orders the manufacture of hemoglobin.

There are two genes that determine the type of hemoglobin to inherit the son sickle cell disease by obtaining a gene from one parent with a parent gene from the other parent (S, C, D, β), meaning that both parents have the disease.
