The Society organizes an awareness lecture on Thalassemia and Other Hemoglobinopathies in Sana’a

The Department of Public Relations and media at Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Hemoglobinopathies organized a lecture on the definition of genetic blood diseases and ways to prevent them by conducting a pre-marriage test in partnership with the National University of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Mr. Abdullah Al-Jadaei, Head of Public Relations and Media Department, met with the Dean of the College Dr. Tawfiq Al-Obaidi And discussed the mechanism of cooperation between the College and the Society and the formation of a team of ambassadors of humanity to support the Society in the adoption of the issue of children of Thalassemia and genetic blood and the work of an awareness program for university students that the Society bear the heavy burden in delivering messages And the importance of their role in the transmission of awareness messages, pointing out to everyone that anyone can avoid the risks that may occur to children by conducting a pre-marital medical examination on their part expressed Participants are willing to adopt the issue.
