At Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders, it is a pleasure for us to extend our sincere gratitude and gratitude to everyone who stood beside the most affected societal groups, especially those with chronic diseases, including thalassemia and genetic blood diseases, appreciating your effective and pioneering humanitarian national roles, and your good and constructive endeavors, whether with support Patients, directly or indirectly, and to everyone who contributed in communicating the issue to all segments of society, and informing them of the risks and extent of suffering to which the children of this battered group are exposed.
On this day, we celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the association, which falls on the 15th of April, as it will be limited by launching an electronic campaign on social media, in consideration of the exceptional circumstances that our beloved country and the world as a whole is experiencing due to the spread of the Corona epidemic.
Therefore, we renew our loyalty and sincerity in order to serve this humanitarian issue, which deserves the concertation of all official and societal efforts to reduce the presence of new births afflicted with this chronic disease. Strategies, goals are defined, plans are drawn up, and capabilities are prepared; this will only be achieved through sensing the extent of interest in this issue, realizing the extent of its seriousness and spreading it in the society, as well as drawing attention to those supporting the adoption of the issue and placing it among their priorities.
On this precious occasion, we hope all of you – and your friends and colleagues in the profession – interact with us and spread the campaign as widely as possible, and put your backgrounds and cases on your social media with pictures that will be sent to you followed by the “hashtag” of the association.
