Examination and awareness … the way to solution and prevention

Many students of National University visited Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders in Sana’a, accompanied by Dr. Osama Dabwan, academic affairs officer at the university, and Mr. Abdul Quddus Al-Katib, Public Relations Director.
they were received by the Director of the Association Mr. Jamil Ali Al-Khayati, and Dr. Mukhtar Ismail, Director of the Center, and Ms. Rabab Tawfiq, blood transfusion services officer, and they were introduced to the center’s departments and the free services provided to patients.

Dr. Mukhtar Ismail presented an awareness lecture, he explained many important information about these chronnic diseases, the most important of which is the ways to prevent it, which protect the family and society from falling into new cases of infection.

This awareness visit is considered one of the best; Because it achieved its goals, and the students interacted distinctly, and they showed great influence on the suffering of patients, and they are ready to contribute to combating these chronic diseases, and educating those around them about the seriousness of these diseases. Dr. Osama stressed that all the attending students should be ambassadors of the association through their educational roles in society. It was also confirmed by Mr. Abdul Quddus that there would be an awareness campaign in all departments of the university, as well as a blood donation campaign, and this will be the least duty they do towards this grieving group.
