Thanks to Al-Hikma University and the Hope Initiative … for bringing joy to patients

On Wednesday 2nd Feb. 2021. The “Hope” initiative (students of first-level human medicine, Al-Hikma University), in coordination and cooperation with the Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders, set up a psychological support program for a group of patients with thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders, at Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders Center.

During the program which attended by Dr. Radwan Al-Najjar, teacher of community medicine, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Tarjami, Chairman of the University Relations Council, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Hayel Saeed, Director of Activities, there were gifts distributed to patients, and some games were created that brought joy and pleasure to them, as such activities boost their spirits and give them hope in life.

In conclusion, the General Director of the Association Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati presented many thanks and gratitude to Al-Hikma University, as well as the “Hope Initiative” for their interest and eagerness to bring joy to the people of this group, wishing them more success in the happiness of others.
