An Awareness Seminar for Preachers

On Thursday, Feb. 11. 2021, Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders (YSTH), in partnership with Yamaan Foundation for Health and Social Development, carried out an awareness seminar for (27) mosque preachers in Bani Al-Harith District at the Capital of Sana’a, as part of the joint response program for patients with thalassemia and Genetic Blood Diseases.

   At the beginning of the symposium, the General Director of the Association, Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati welcomed the honorable attendance, and on top of them Mr. Ameen Ahmed Al-Razhi Director of Endowments in the Bani Al-Harith District, Abdul Rahman Al-Judairi, Director of Endowments in the Al-Safiah District, thanking their good offices by their presence, calling on everyone to light the flame of awareness in the community by introducing the dangers of thalassemia and genetic blood diseases, and the importance of conducting an early medical examination before marriage, because it is the only way to protect future generations from the risks of contracting these chronic diseases.
