Our Partners in Awareness
Awareness is the most important aspect and the most appropriate intervention in the prevention of thalassemia and other Hemoglobinopathies, it can be carried out at all times by various means and in partnership with the relevant authorities in the following ministries: (Public Health and Population, Media, Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training, Endowments and Guidance, Social Affairs and Labor, Human Rights, Youth and Sports, Justice… etc).
Civil society organizations, youth events and initiatives and individuals can contribute to educating the community about these chronic diseases and their dangers and ways of transmission to generations and ways to prevent them through early testings, counseling and informed choice of life partner to ensure childhood without thalassemia and other Hemoglobinopathies.
And to ensure a healthy society free from any disabilities, abnormalities or diseases resulting from random marriage.
