Helping Patients in Bone Marrow Transplantation

Most of the parents of the patients if not all of them dream that suffering end to their grandchildren and get rid of their chronic genetic diseases, which can not be treated and eliminated with only one treatment at the moment is (surgical) operation of bone marrow transplantation or stem cells because of the lack of bone marrow transplantation services in the centers in Yemen. Many parents seek to treat their children abroad despite the high costs and procedures of these procedures and the length of stay abroad for their children. We assist patients and their families in facilitating the procedures for obtaining treatment grants, providing counseling and communication with some concerned parties, and encouraging continuous support in the case of a donor who is a relative of the patient. Many of these operations have succeeded and patients have returned to better health without any symptoms or complications.

This issue remains at the forefront of the association’s concern to establish local centers in the future to conduct bone marrow or stem cell transplantation for patients so that many patients can overcome their symptoms and eliminate the complications and pain of these chronic diseases.
