One of the most important steps in the prevention of these chronic diseases is the early examination in the stages of childhood and youth and before attached with the partner of life … In the Association, we are observing to all our literature and our activities and our awareness efforts be focused on this aspect, which needs to take a decision from the head of the family or the same person and to provide appropriate advice from specialized doctors in thalassemia and genetic blood disorders.
The Association has made great efforts in the past years to sensitize the members of the community to the importance of these tests and addressed the various bodies to contribute to the awareness and providing these tests in health public utilities, government and private so that it is accessible to every young man and every family wishes to pre-mariage tests.
The Association also addressed the official authorities represented by the parliament and the Ministries of Health, Justice and Legal Affairs to issue a clear law requiring early medical examination before marriage and start implementing it with the cooperation of the concerned authorities.
