In the workshop organized by the Association in coordination with the Office of Education in the Secretariat and under the auspices of Bonyan Development Foundation was trained seventy educators of health and environment officials in schools and heads of departments in the educational areas.
The workshop aimed at health and environment supervisors in six educational districts in the capital Sana’a (Peoples – Thawra – Mo’in – 70s – 70s – Old Sana’a)
Through this workshop, the association aims at activating the role of educators and health and environment officials in raising awareness of the dangers of this disease in all schools in Amanah Al-Mukarramah.

Four papers were presented during the workshop, which dealt with the first paper presented by the trainer Dr. Rasha Al-Nood, in which the trainer reviewed a number of topics related to the disease and its stages of emergence, spread and symptoms.
The trainer addressed the types of genetic blood diseases and their complications and the most important treatments and tests needed by the infected.
In the second paper presented by coach Dr. Mukhtar Ismail, the trainer talked about the most important activities and awareness programs carried out by the Association, explaining the most important stations that have passed through the establishment of the association and the Center for the care of thalassemia patients and genetic blood.

The third paper presented by coach / Abdullah Ibrahim included the social and psychological side of the disease, where the trainer explained many of the effects and psychological and social consequences of the patient and his family.
And the role of the Department of Guidance and Education in the Office of Education in raising awareness of the dangers of the disease on the future of childhood was the fourth and final paper provided by trainer / Najwa Qanba
