The association participates in the medical conference for thalassemia and sickle cell anemia in Jordan

Engineer Alaa Muhammad Al-Wasabi – a representative of the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Patients – participated in the Second International Medical Conference on Hemophilia, Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia in the Jordanian capital Amman on September 26-27, 2019 AD, which was held by the Thalassemia and Hemophilia Center in the Women’s and Children’s Hospital / Al-Bashir Hospitals Department (Ministry of Health) ).

With the participation of the Jordanian Society for Thalassemia and Hemophilia, the Society of Thalassemia Patients’ Friends – Palestine, in cooperation with the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) and the International Federation of Thalassemia (TIF).

During the meeting, Dr. Bashar Al-Karmi, President of the Thalassemia Patients' Friends Society - Palestine, stated that the goal of the meeting is to find a formula to address the problems that patients face, and to focus on critiquing the experience and uncovering the defect points that became apparent during the course of previous years, indicating the need to go to deeper thinking and enrich the experiences with the recommendations and proposals of the conference in the interest of The patients.
