A Lifeline for our Future Generations
During the period from the 24th of August to the 21st of October 2023 AD, The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Patients, in coordination and cooperation with Al-Rashid Smart University, the National University , the German Collage for Medical and Technical Science , the Emirates International University , Al-Razi University, Queen Arwa University , the Vision and Idea institute , Modern International School ” Al-Baraem branch” has implanted 8 awareness campaigns to introduce the dangers of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders, methods of transmission , ways to prevent them and the importance of early examination and medical pre- marriage consultation .
It also held 6 campaigns for voluntary blood donation for the benefit of thalassemia hereditary blood patients and other dependent patients on blood transfusion in cooperation with the National Center for Blood Transfusion and Research .
For its part , the association’s management expressed its sincere thanks to all parties participating in protecting future generations by spreading health awareness and caring for patients by providing safe blood supplies ,wishing the continuation of these great humanitarian efforts.
