Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders held a mini-celebration on the occasion of its founding anniversary, which falls on April 15 of each year. The association’s leadership, headed by Dr. Ahmed Shamsan Al-Maqrami, honoring the employees of the association and the Center for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders; This is loyalty and gratitude to them for the humanitarian and distinguished efforts they make to serve and care for patients with thalassemia and genetic blood disorders.
This anniversary comes from the year 2020, in light of the exceptional circumstances in which we live due to the spread of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) in most countries of the world, which prompted the administrative body of the association to take a decision to hold this symbolic event; In compliance with the necessary measures, caution, and caution against excessive mixing and what may result from it.
The president of the association expressed his sincere thanks, and gratitude to the supportive bodies and the businessmen who contribute to the support and relief of patients with medicines and medical supplies from time to time. He also thanked the members of the administrative body and the association’s employees for the clear fingerprints they leave towards this bereaved group, and those who deserve us All good, hoping everyone will continue on the same pace – if not for the best – to complete the human march of the Association, which lasts for two decades.
For his part, the General Director of the Association Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati stressed that the success of the association is not limited to a specific person, but for all its loyal and persevering cadres, thanking the captain of the human ship, the president of the association Dr. Ahmed Shamsan; As an important factor for success, as well as when everyone has given full confidence in the progress of work.

In search of blood transfusion, as that was the greatest concern, but sensing the parents of patients and many interested doctors and volunteers – at that time – pushed them to establish the association, which today is one of the leading human edifices in Yemeni society, thanks to Allah and the efforts of its human cadres qualified people working silently; Sensing a wage and a service for childhood, as well as the standing of many of the supportive bodies in our country, and the adoption of businessmen – who have got pour mercy and humanity – for one of the most important issues of our society” He added.
