The establishment of an open day for Thalassemia patients at the University of Yemen.

Yemen University’ students in cooperation with the resources department of Yemeni Society for Thalassemia organized an open day to support patients with thalassemia and Genetic blood Disorders.

The open day includes the establishment of a charity market (bazaar) to sell some food and others whose proceeds for the benefit of patients with thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders.

The Open Day program also includes a student blood donation campaign organized by the National Blood Transfusion Center and its research for Thalassemia patients and other needy patients by providing a vehicle.
