Researchers : Thalassemia Center is the main source for researchers in the field of hereditary blood diseases

Dozens of researchers and academics stressed the need and importance of a special research center for data and statistics of thalassemia patients and genetic blood in Yemen.

At the conclusion of their research program on hereditary hematopoietic patients at the Thalassemia Care Center, researchers and academics called on the concerned authorities to support the Center and provide it with all the needs and requirements in order to be able to function properly.

The statistics and information department at the center is considered the only source for students and those interested in the field of hereditary blood diseases in Yemen.

For his part, praised the coordinator of researchers from the Future of the homeland and the Institute of Alzahrawi medical researcher Oday Al-Barawi efforts exerted by the Center’s management in collecting data and statistics of patients in addition to their humanitarian and relief efforts.

“The center provided us with all the information and data we need in our research and provided us with literature and various publications,” he added.

The Future of Watan Group completed yesterday the study and research program conducted by the group at the center and lasted for one week.

It is noteworthy that the Center for the care of Thalassemia patients and genetic blood receives annually dozens of students and researchers in the field of hereditary blood diseases.
