Thalassemia Center welcomes the students of the International College of Health and Technology

The Director of the Center for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders Care Dr. Mukhtar Ismail and Public Relations Officer Mr. Abdullah Al-Jadaie received a number of international students from the Nursing and Laboratory Departments at the Center’s headquarters in Sana’a.

During his reception, the Director of the Center praised the students of the International College for humanitarian and national issues, including the case of Thalassemia patients and genetic blood.
He called on students to the need for pre-marital medical examination and contribute to sensitize the community to its importance and work to reduce the spread of hereditary blood diseases.

The students listened to a brief overview of the most important health, social and relief services provided by the Association through the Center through a presentation of the documentary film.

The students also listened to many flashlights and information materials to raise awareness of the risks, complications and ways to prevent thalassemia.
