Awareness Department organizes an awareness program for a group of school health students in Al-Rasheed schools

The Department of Health Awareness and Education at the Thalassemia and Genetics Center organized an awareness program for a group of school health students in Al-Rasheed Modern School.

In the awareness program, which was held in the hall of the Center for the care of patients with thalassemia and genetic blood, the Director of the Center, Dr. Mukhtar Ismail, on the nature of genetic diseases and the most important complications and ways of prevention.

The Director of the Center addressed a number of issues and topics related to Thalassemia and other hereditary blood fractures, calling on students to early conduct pre-marital medical examination.

For his part, the school health official thanked the schools of modern rationalism Dr. Zakaria Sulaiman to manage the center to provide the opportunity to introduce students to the risks of Thalassemia and genetic blood and ways of prevention.

School health students visited the Thalassemia clinic and met with a number of patients giving them gifts in kind.
