Maria Qahtan, Visits Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Diseases Care Center

Maria Qahtan, the Yemeni star & children’s peace ambassador, visited on Tuesday, 5th, oct, Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Patients Center, in Sana’a.

Maria Qahtan and the accompanying staff, During her visiting, which received by the Director General of YSTH, a number of administrative members, and a group of children with genetic blood disorders and their families, got acquainted with the center’s sections, the services provides to patients, and how important are these services to patients. And, “Maria” presented a set of gifts to patients existed in the center’s sections.

Jamil Ali Al-Khayati, the Director General of the Association, stressed importance of all segments of society to come together; to prevent new infection disease. Furthermore, he mentioned, “this will only be possible through a wide awareness movement, in which everyone is one hand to save future generations of this imminent danger.” Al-Khayati, also, his speech extended his thanks and gratitude to Maria and the accompanying staff for this generous and humane gesture.

Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders (YSTH), finally, honored Qahtan with a certificate of appreciation, expressing gratitude for her visiting, and wishing her further success in the future.
