Donating blood is generosity and humanity..Raising awareness is prevention for future generations
In continuation of the efforts to save the lives of patients and to enhance prevention efforts , Yemen University, in coordination and cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center and the Yemeni Society for Thalasseimia and Hereditary Blood Patients, Today ,Monday 29 Rajab 1444 AH /20 February 2023 AD, set up a voluntary donation campaign for the benefit of patients with thalasseimia and genetic blood patients and others who depend on blood transfusions.
The campaign was preceded by an awareness campaign to introduce the dangers of thalasseimia disease and hereditary blood disorders , methods of their spread and ways to prevent them , the most important of which is early examination and premarital medical advice .
