Art is a message and responsibility
On Monday, 15 Dhu Al-Qi’dah 1444 AH corresponding to June 5, 2023 AD, the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Patients received a group of artists, media figures and writers on a humanitarian visit to the treatment center in Sana’a, where they were received by the president of the association and the members of the administrative board and workers.
During the visit, they learned about the center ‘s departments and the services it provides to patients. An awareness lecture and panel discussion were held about hereditary blood diseases and ways to prevent them.
Everyone expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the association and its humanitarian team, expressing their full readiness to introduce this humanitarian issue and the needs of providing care to the injured and urging the necessity of early examination and premarital counseling; for the health and safety of future generations through their artistic and literary works and social media platforms.
