The Yemeni Association for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Patients celebrates the International Day of Sickle cell Anemia with a number of Recreational Activities
Coinciding with the International Day of Sickle cell Anemia , June 19, and under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Public Health and Population, Prof.Dr.Taha Ahmed Al-Mutawakil , His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mr.Obaid Salem bin Dabi, and the Mayor of the Capital, Dr.Hammoud Muhammad Abbad , and under the slogan ( For a Healthy Generation …and a Healthy Homeland ), the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Patients held today ,Monday ,June 19, 2023 AD corresponding to Dhu Al-Hajjah 1, 1444 AH , the open day for patients and their families, as part of recreational activities and psychological support , in the presence of Prof.Hammoud Al-Naqeeb,the Undersecretary of the Social Affairs and labor sector in the capital Sana’a , and Mr.Nasser Al-Kahli, the Director General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor , and a number of media outlets and artistic and media personalities.
For its part, the management of the association, represented by Dr. Ahmed Shamsan Al-Maqrami expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the gardens department in the capital municipality, and Al- Sabaeen garden department”Al-Maghshi garden” and its owner ,the nobel Hajj, Abdullah Ahmed Al-Maghshi, for their humanity and cooperation and for providing this opportunity to the children of this bereaved segment and their families.
Patients and their families expressed their happiness and pleasure with this entertaining activity, which gave them positive energy and hope for a better life , and made them feel the community’s interest in them and their humanitarian cause.
On this occasion , the association congratulates all its patients and patients in the world , and strengthens their hands and invites them to overcome the difficulties they face , wishing them a life free of pain and full of hope, asking the lord to fulfill everyone’s wishes.
