Dr. Ahmed Shamsan Al-Muqrami, President of the Association, called on schools, universities and all educational institutions to help patients with thalassemia and genetic blood and enable them to enjoy their right to education.
In his speech at the third charity festival to support Thalassemia patients and renal failure organized by the Student Activities Department at the University of Science and Technology yesterday, the President of the Association called on all educational institutions to offer free seats and scholarships to patients who have referred difficult conditions to their right to education.
He praised the role played by the University of Science and Technology in supporting humanitarian issues and encouraging those wishing to join education.
The celebration included a number of technical and inspirational paragraphs that spoke about supporting humanitarian and charitable work. The organizers also allocated a good bazaar to support Thalassemia patients and kidney failure.
