The ysth Care Center appeals to local and international organizations to save the lives of thousands of patients

The Center for the Care of sth Patients is witnessing an increasing demand by patients as a result of the waves of displacement witnessed in the capital Sana’a during the past few weeks, causing the near depletion of the stock of laboratory solutions and other medical supplies.

The Center’s residents fear that they will not be able to meet the needs and requirements of the operation of the medical center’s departments and facilities, which will negatively impact the health situation of the patients and cause serious setbacks and complications that could result in the deaths of many of them.

The Center expresses its deep regret over the tragic situation that threatens the continuity of its medical services to appeal to all local and international organizations, public bodies in the field of health and businessmen to speed up the lives of thousands of patients by providing the most important medicines and medical supplies.

The Center’s staff confirms that the number of patients is increasing and that the latest statistics until July 2018 about 4800 patients and patients from different governorates of the Republic.

The cost of purchasing four types of medicines given to patients for only three months is estimated at US $ 321,000.

It is noteworthy that the Center for the care of patients with thalassemia and genetic blood receive 80 – 120 patients and patients at least daily and provide them all health services free of charge.
