Midwifery and Obstetrics Students ( A Fingerprint Achievement class ) Perform an Entertainment Program for Thalassemia Patients

In the field of the cooperation between the Yemeni Society of Thalassemia and Hemoglobinopathies and the Medical Education and Training Center at the University of Science and Technology and within the community activities, midwifery and obstetrics students ( a fingerprint for the achievement class ) carried out a female awareness and entertaining program for children of Thalassemia and genetic blood disorders.
These activities are aimed at enhancing the psychological aspects of children. The students distributed gifts to children, played with them, and brought happiness and sorrows in their hearts.
Mr. Jamil Al-Khayati, General Director of the Society, praised the event and emphasized that in light of the current circumstances of the country and the psychological state of patients and children in particular, they need such recreational programs to enhance their immunity and their resilience to complications of the disease.
General Director of the Association thanked the working team of the program and the supervisors of the Center for Medical Education and Training at the University of Science and Technology, calling for youth initiatives and organizations to adopt such programs and implement such activities.
