Strenuous efforts to provide safe blood and spread awareness of the importance of conducting a premarital examination.

The Yemeni Society for Thalasseimia and Hereditary Blood Patients ,in coordination and cooperation with a group of Yemeni universities represented by the University of Science and Technology, Azal university for Human Development, Al-Nasser University, Al Rasheed Smart University, Al Hikma University and Queen Arwa  University ,held a number of awareness campaigns on the dangers of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders and ways to prevent them. These campaigns are held during the months of January and February of the current year 2023 AD.

After that ,6 voluntary blood donation campaigns were held for the benefit of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders and other patients who depend on blood transfusions.
