Today, 1/3/2020, a number of laboratory students second year at the National Higher Institute of Health Sciences visited the Society accompanied by the head of the laboratory department of the Institute Dr. Rahma Al-Maqrami, they were received by the General Director of the Society Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati, Dr. Mukhtar Ismail director of the center. Students were briefed on all the center’s departments and the services it provides to patients throughout the year.

For his part, Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati urged everyone to do a pre-marriage test, as it is the first and only solution to avoid infection with chronic diseases, and he stressed that it is mandatory to educate the community about this, because it ignores this procedure from grave dangers to society.

In a related context, Mr. Abdullah Al-Jadaei, head of public relations and media Section, present an awareness lecture about the dangers of thalassemia and genetic blood diseases and their causes, effects, symptoms, and ways to avoid them, and what we can offer to the children of this injured group, thanking everyone for their attendance and interest.
