It was an excellently a humanitarian day

With the cooperation with the YSTH and the National Center for Blood Transfusion & Research, Tens of students and citizens participated in the blood donation volunteering campaign for Thalassemia patients held in the yard of Al.Jazeera collage. Many activities, speeches and awareness lectures were permeated during the activity.

Dr. Mokhtar Isma’eel Qubati delivered an awareness speech clarifying the causes, symptoms and the complications resulted by such a disease. Dr. Mokhtar deeply stressed on the necessity of doing the early Hb electrophoresis medical test in order to avoid having children infected by such kinds of diseases. He also referred to the necessity of defining the risks of these diseases.

At the end of his speech, Dr Mokhtar thanked Al.Jazeera collage; administration and cadre, for their efforts and coordination to make this campaign incredibly successful.

On the other hand, Dr.Hashem Al Maghrebi, Al.Jazeera collage Dean, begged the mercy of all the collage employees and students to participate in the blood transfusion campaign for the Thalassemia patients. He also referred to the big role of the YSTH in helping and serving this wounded group of people.

Mr.Jameel Al.Khayyati expressed his deep feeling by thanking every one who offered his/her hand in making this campaign excellently successful. He also expressed his happiness of the peoples’ attendance and thier active role in participating and donating blood.
