Entertainment event on World Sickle Cell Day

In conjunction with the International Day of Sickle Cell Anemia, which falls on June 19, the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Patients held, today, Sunday, an entertainment event at the Magical City Recreational Center for a number of Thalassemia patients and hereditary blood disorders.

The event included giving speeches about patients, honoring the cooperating and supportive entities and personalities, taking memorial photos of the patients, and participating in various games that contributed to bringing joy and pleasure to them.

The event, which was graciously sponsored by the Secretariat’s Social Affairs, was attended by the president of the YSTH stuff, a number of members of the administrative board, and a number of media professionals and artists.
