Together, Towards a thalassemia-free Yemen

In coordination and cooperation with the toYemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood disorders, the German College of Medical and Technical Sciences held, today, Sunday, June 26, 2022, an awareness campaign on the dangers of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders and ways to prevent them.

During the campaign, Dr. Mokhtar Ismail, Director of the Treatment Center, gave an awareness speech about hereditary hemolytic diseases and the importance of preventing them, and about the importance of conducting an early medical examination before marriage. He also encouraged the attendees to donate blood in the next campaign, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 AD in the college yard.
