Towards promoting a culture of early screening and blood donation
On Tuesday and Wednesday 23-24 Rajab 1444AH /13-14 February 2023 AD, The University of Modern Sciences held an awareness campaign to introduce the dangers of thalasseiemia disease and hereditary blood disorders ,ways to prevent them , and the importance and benefits of voluntary blood donation. This campaign was held in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Society for Patients with Thalasseimia and Hereditary Blood diseases,
The awareness program concluded with a voluntary donation campaign in cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center, for the benefit of thalasseimia and genetic blood patients and other patients depending on blood transfusion.
