Honoring the association … in recognition of its humanitarian efforts.

Yesterday, Tuesday, 12/15/2020, Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders was honored with a group of civil society organizations, and several commercial companies and social figures, who participated in the success of the Development Partners Program in the Capital Municipality during the year 2020, in the final honorary ceremony Organized by the Office of Social Affairs and Labor sponsored by Mr. Obaid bin Doby’a, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, and Mr. Hammoud Obaid, Secretary of the Capital, Head of the Municipality’s Local Council, and Mr. Nasser Al-Safi Al-Kahli, Director General of the Social Affairs Office.

The association was represented by Dr. Mukhtar Ismail, Director of the Center for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Jadaei, Head of the Public Relations and Media Section of the Association, and this honor comes in appreciation of the contribution of the participating parties, their tangible efforts, and their active participation in various fields out of national and humanitarian responsibility.

The award was attended by a number of agents of Al-Amanah governorate, the Ministry of Social Affairs, leaders of the Chamber of Commerce, representatives of civil society organizations, and community initiatives.
